A little imagination. A shared purpose.

We’re WaveWerk.
Nice to sea you.

We believe sustainability should be experienced, not just explained. We create custom games that turn complex environmental topics into engaging, memorable experiences that inspire real-world action.

WaveWerk ocean game artwork on a phone, with a yellow submarine exploring a colourful underwater world
Playful by nature. Purposeful by design.

People remember
what they experience.

We partner with businesses, nonprofits, and public organizations to create interactive sustainability games for education, training, and outreach.

Every client project also helps fund free educational games for schools and communities.

People learn best by doing. By transforming sustainability into play, we help organizations educate their audiences while expanding access to environmental learning for everyone.

I’m Claire. I’ve always been drawn to people. Somewhere along the way, that turned into storytelling.

Hawaii has always felt like home. Sun, ocean, mountains… it’s a rhythm that keeps everything grounded. I wake up every morning to the sound of birds and I think about how lucky I am to be here. That feeling carries into my work. Now I’m helping shape how we connect. Grateful to be here.

I’m Waddy, local boy from Kauai. I grew up and worked on a sugarcane plantation. Always had a connection to the ʻāina and its beauty. Eventually I ended up doing artwork in Silicon Valley tech and game industry.

Music and art are my passion along with preserving our environment. WaveWerk is a great springboard to learn and understand the responsibility we have in caring and protecting mother nature, while having fun doing it.

I’ve always felt connected to the land and the ocean. I spend a lot of time with native plants and paying attention to what’s happening beneath the surface.

I’m a nutritionist and a soil advocate. I care deeply about how things grow. Healthy soil, strong plants, real nourishment. That’s my rhythm. Everything’s connected. I just start at the roots.

I’m the code guy. I’ve always liked figuring things out: how things work, how they break, and how to make them better. Somewhere along the way, that turned into writing code… and I never really stopped.

But I don’t stay behind a screen all the time. Every winter, I head out to the mountains in Oregon. That’s where everything resets. That’s where I think clearly. Then I come back… and build. Now I’m working on games that bring those two worlds together.

Hi, I’m Lou the art guy. I started doodling on paper when I was supposed to be paying attention. That was probably the beginning of everything.

I love trees, planting them, being around them, thinking about them. The environment is not just a backdrop. It is part of the story I care about telling.

Now I’m at WaveWerk working on games that aim to do more than entertain. Hoping to spark something. Maybe even change something. Still doodling.

The sound of our mission

A Beautiful Place

An original track by Waddy Dacay, capturing our mission in island style. Made with aloha.

Good things start with curiosity

Let’s make
a little wave.

Have a question, a big idea, or a cause worth playing for?
We’d love to hear it.
