Our impact & partners

Good intentions.
Measurable impact.

We work with organizations to quantify and communicate their environmental impact through structured pilot programs and reporting.

Meet the pilots.

Our programs connect environmental action with data, so partners can understand and share what their work makes possible.

01

Burlingame, California

Active pilot

Tree Canopy Pilot

Six mature redwood trees, around 10 years old, have been donated and are being planted throughout Burlingame to expand the urban canopy and support long-term climate resilience.

What we’re measuring

  • GPS coordinates for each planted tree
  • Individual and aggregate canopy coverage
  • Estimated carbon sequestration over time
Report in development

Canopy mapping, growth projections, and carbon impact modeling. The full report and interactive tree map are in development.

Active pilot

Treasure Paws Reuse Impact Pilot

A six-month study measuring the environmental benefits of reusing donated goods, with a focus on landfill diversion, water savings, and carbon reduction.

What we’re measuring

  • Volume of items reused and waste diverted
  • Water savings from avoided production
  • Estimated carbon emissions avoided
Report in development

A 20-page impact report with data visualizations and quantified environmental metrics is in progress.

03

Northern California

Upcoming pilot

NorCal Underwater Hunters

A planned invasive species pilot focused on targeted sea urchin removal to support kelp forest regeneration and marine ecosystem balance.

Planned measurements

  • Biomass removed
  • Kelp restoration support
  • Marine ecosystem recovery indicators
Report in development

The partnership is signed. Measurement and reporting will follow the pilot launch.

How we measure impact

A clearer picture
of what changes.

Initial reports will be published after the pilot cycles are complete. Outcomes are being measured; completed results are not yet available.

01 / COLLECT

Start with real activity.

Data comes directly from partner operations, with ongoing measurement during each pilot.

02 / MEASURE

Use a consistent method.

We use a shared measurement framework and environmental equivalency estimates where applicable.

03 / SHARE

Make the findings useful.

Six-month reporting cycles focus on carbon emissions avoided, water savings, and waste diversion where relevant.
